LOUIS VUITTON Secret Places: Cabinet d'Ecriture

Cabinet D'ecriture

TRAVEL. On the second day in Paris I’ve discovered another Secret Place of Louis Vuitton: The Cabinet d’Ecriture in Saint-Germain.
It’s a small museum full of old typewriters, books, inkwells and stationery cases and it made me wanna write a poem immediately:

For me the Cabinet d’Ecriture was a very special place since I love writing a lot! When I was 5 years old I started writing my first
stories and poems about mermaids, ravens and washing powder. 10 years later I had my first reading in front of an audience –
an exciting moment I can tell! But then I decided to bring writen stories to life and become an actress instead of a writer.
However I still love to take lots of notes during rehearsals and shootings. No computer or phone could ever replace the handwriting!
I loved the exclusive inks and inkwells at the Cabinet d’Ecriture and the pens were so comfortable to write with that I concidered
getting rid of my phone and write some letters instead! What about you: Do you still write by hand? Do you prefer pen or pencil?
