ANTWERP DIARY//FASHION

Antwerp Diary- Fashion (1)

TRAVEL. I know I’m a bit late with this. Blame it on the thousands of pictures I took in Antwerp (and Paris) and the difficulty to pick
the best ones out of them. You get me, right? Always keep in mind: Haste makes waste. Nevertheless I managed to arise from the
virtual darkroom and will show you my impressions from Antwerp (and some Paris pics are missing too). Let’s start with Fashion:

my lovely travel companions were Kira (the lady in green, above), Maria (who took the pic of me. thx!), Benny and Michaela. It was fun, guys!

After arriving in Antwerp (and an adventurous train ride) we visited the ModeMuseum Antwerp, learned about fabrics and printing
processes and gained some insights into the daily life of a fashion student (over 2000 applications every year, only a 100 start and
about 10 students finish their studies!). some of the students from the Antwerp Fashion Department were awarded that day and so we
went to the Royal Academy of Fine Arts to attend the Award Ceremony. Best thing: I’ve seen Dries von Noten in person!! baboom. Good-looking guy I can tell. I sneaked around him and took some pictures but I did not like that Stalker feeling and got me some fruit salad.
Boy, the students were that fashionable it made me feel utterly boring. I tried to keep calm since I knew that’s a „I have to stand out” designer thing. In the afternoon we had a personal shopping guide, showing us the best vintage stores ( there are A LOT!!!) and boutiques.
I exhumed 80€ Balmain sandals and DID NOT TAKE THEM!!!! I blame it on the tiredness. Last but not least we were invited to a exclusive Dinner at the Bocadero before heading to the Antwerp Fashion Show, which was my personal highlight. The show, not the dinner. Well both.

Talking about fashion: As you might have seen on Facebook it’s SALE on my webstore plus I’ve added new items.
So check out the new stuff and shop my wardrobe!
