COMFORT ME

COMFORT ME (c) VIENNA WEDEKIND

ISABEL MARANT x H&M – Slip Ons (similar here)

comfort is a state of dressing where you don’t have to think about how you look, because feeling warm, relaxed and happy is all that counts at this point. we don’t care about trends while we enjoy our weekends – we wear joggers, our favourite sweatshirts and warm socks instead.
but it’s good to know that textile comfort isn’t longer a sunday thing, it’s arrived on the runway and in glossy magazines. don’t get me wrong, I love my heels but I equally love my slip-ons and sneakers. I love my skinny jeans but I wouldn’t miss my boyfriend jeans for the world!
the same goes for push ups vs. wireless bras, pencil skirts vs. culottes and camisoles vs. chunky knits.

I’ve joyfully observed the arrival of comfortable clothes at the fashion weeks. honestly, I’ve never seen this much flats running down the runways than I saw last season, and it hasn’t changed so far. sneakers even entered the haute couture shows (thx, karl!) and are now officially appropriate. and thx to Phoebe, Isabel and copycat-king Zara it’s gonna be the comfiest summer season ever! I can’t wait, what about you?

Ein herrliches Foto! Die Socken haben sogar noch ein wenig mehr sofort-haben-wollen Effekt ;)

I’m definitely celebrating the arrival of comfortable clothes on the catwalk. Heels are all well and good for partying, but nothing beats flats on a day to day basis!

I have been mad on myself for weeks because I didn’t buy them… I even tried them on and then I just put them back. What was I thinking? :(
