VAGABOND – Mules c/o Sarenza

Mules, the most discussed footwear at the moment, overruling prints and digitals. But what is it with Mules? It is quite simple:
Either you love them or you hate them. There’s no space between. Since I’m on the loving side I’m asking myself: why?!

I think my mule obsession started with the embellished goodness appearing on the Tibi runway back in September. It was unexpected (me and crystals wtf?!) but I was sold. Another reason might root in my childhhood: My sister wore mules when I was a kid, she was the big sis, cool and daring. She was an adventurous fashion-lover and paired her mules with a skin-tight denim overall. It looked fantastic and I was her secret admirer. Maybe because she didn’t care what people thought of her (we were brought up on the countryside. hard times, let me tell you!), she just wanted to feel good. The 3rd reason might be my malicious subconsciousness which is slightly reminded of my grandpa’s slippers galoshes. They were ugly, no doubt, but they stood for happiness and shelter. As I loved my granddad how could I not love these mules then?! See? Sometimes our memories influence our buying habits and this is absolutely acceptable.

I hate ’em, really do. And you’re right, there’s no “they’re ok” for mules. But I think they will be perfect for you and your style! I already took a leap of faith for my dear Birkenstock’s and I love them, but mules? Not for me I guess :D

Love these, but they’re so not for me. I need some stability, unfortunately :)
