one reason to love fall/autumn/automne is the layer-friendly weather that comes with all the fallen leaves. which ultimately leads to the grand rediscovery of the back of our closets. Oh hey there knits, ankle boots, canada scarfs and all kinds of jackets! I’ve missed you. Kind of..

But today is not the time to shed reunion tears – today we have to focus on a new Fall investment piece: the sleeveless coat. This is something we don’t necessarily need but absolutely want right now because it’s actually the coolest transeasonal piece this season. You can layer it with your knits or with your favourite dress. You can sport it with skinny jeans or leather trackpants and superstars if you wish.
See – this endless list of variations makes it such an investment piece…

And yes: Of course I thought about naming this post „sleeveless in seattle“. Busted!

Thanks so much for the love and dropping by my blog. I’m so glad you did because I’m in love with yours! Such inspiring outfits and great taste in pieces. You just got yourself a new fan!

On another note, I really like this outfit and your choice in sleeveless oversized vests and your top has so much resemblance to the marble print. I’ve been looking for good vests to wear indoors as well. I’ve only found a sleeveless trench but it seems impractical to own one now because it’s chilly in Toronto already.
