On a lazy-dressing scale from 1-10 I’m probably a current 8, I’m just not ready for the skirt & tights & knee-boots thing. Which ultimately means: the colder it gets the more I tend to wear easy pants, oversized shirts and all kinds of flats aka The Usual Suspects. I just need the ultimate comfort!! Yes I know, I its way too early to suffer from the Eskimo Syndrome (= never leaving the house without 7 layers of deer skin and shearling moon boots) so I try hard to dress up a little from time to time.
So what I’m basically trying to do is to wear comfy pieces that could be easily transformed into appointment appropriate outfits. Example:
This look minus the slides plus heels minus the jacket plus a tailored coat = you’re good to go. That’s why the usual suspects are so usual because usually you can rely on them. Amen.
