CITIZENS OF HUMANITY Jacket / ZARA – Turtleneck (similar here) / GANNI – Trousers / MOXHAM – Cuff / ZARA – Bag / ACNE – Boots (similar here)

Wait, do we really feel some 70’s vibes on the Wedekind Planet? That was unexpected and most of all: unintentional! Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely adore the modern approach to the 70’s, especially Nicolas Ghesquières LV visions (btw: congrats on winning Best International Designer at the British Fashion Awards!) but I’m not sure if I could pull this off. I guess I’m not ready for velvets, flares and overknee boots…

Then in the most unexpected moment when I slipped into that new Drifter Jacket, adding a neck warming jumper for defrosting purpose, I felt that laid back 70’s spirit washing over me and suddenly it all made sense. I felt like my Dad back in the days, ready for a road trip with countless adventures, driving a nice car and wearing a great denim jacket.

Well, unfortunately I don’t have a nice car (that yellow roadrunner, Dad!!) but at least I have the great Denim! And it’s Indigo, a colour I’m obsessed with lately. It’s almost as good as black. Maybe I’ll wear it with a pair of flares one day, you never know…
