If I had to choose between a front row seat and a backstage access I’d choose backstage over and over again. Here are some reason:

While the Front Row is
(non)discreetly trying to attract the attention of event photographers
scanning the goody bags
scanning their neighbors
busy instagramming the show so that they hardly see the show itself (also happened to me whoops!)

I’m
getting an intimate first impression of the collection
touching the fabrics
hugging the designer (Malaika you are just too sweet)
falling in love with the curry coloured leather jacket
taking 256 backstage pictures
playing dressing double for a model
checking out the model’s buffet (water, fruits, candy bars),
meeting lovely colleagues
jumping around
listening to the make-up trends for AW15
drooling over the mary jane flats
laughing at the grumpy model
laughing with the cheerful model
feeling at home.

I must admit that sitting front row and taking backstage pictures is the ideal combination to show you guys the best out of both worlds. Now you can’t wait to see my Malaikaraiss Runway Favourites, right? happy friday!
