They say the world is composed of three types of people:
The people who take, people who give and people who only give when they’ll get back and take when they’re taken from.
I’m a happy giver.
For example: The only thing I really like about Christmas is the moment when I’m giving the presents to my family and see them happy like
a kid. Or sometimes when I’m off for some shopping with the girls I end up ecstatically buying things for others.
I always want the best for my loved ones and that goes for my precious designer pieces, too!
This is where Vestiaire Collective comes in.
It’s not only the „out with the old – in with the new“ principle that I like about a wardrobe detox. It’s the fact that someone will appreciate my preloved treasures as much (and even more) as I do and knows exactly their value.
That’s why, after months of pensive should or shouldn’t I‘s in front of my shoe cabinet, I’ve finally decided to let go of my Acne Cypress Boots and give it to another Scandi shoe lover. I remember the moment I bought them when in Copenhagen, I was so proud (it was one of my first Acne pieces I’ve ever owned) and so damn happy. Life in berry colours. But at the end of the day I just have to face the fact that I’m more a dark horse than a berry passionate and so I’m picking – inspecting – cleaning – shooting – describing and selling my way to happiness. Trying not to peek at the New Arrivals while uploading the pictures. Or maybe just a little bit.. Damn those Céline Cat Eyes are just too good…
However, it’s easy to let go if you want it.
PS. No fakes allowed in tha club: Every sold piece is inspected by a quality control team to guarantee that it’s authentic. Bon voyage, booties!
