Donaukanal! Bester ort in wien zu jeder jahreszeit

I love taking an old tram and driving around Vienna, with music in my ears, my thoughts circling and flying around. That is when I am most inspired. There is so much history in this city and I always try to picture how it must have been in the 1880 or the 1920s. I wish I could timetravel.

My favorite place would have to be Schloss Schönbrunn and the Gloriette. Such a majestic place with such a gorgeous view.

Lisa said...

Alles Liebe,

The best way to enjoy Wien is to stroll round the hidden corners of the first district enjoying its beautiful architecture, get some frozen yogurt from Kurt and soak up the sun at the Donaukanal.

Oh I’ve been to Vienna so long ago but I can definitely remember that I loved was the park around Schloss Schönbrunn. It was so good to “escape” the busy city for a little while and take the time to take it all in. My email address is: serenabalasi57@gmail.com

Fingers crossed! xx

One of the best places in Vienna is the top bar of Sofitel, because from there you can see the entire city in all its beauty. I also enjoy the variety of cafes and bars this city has to offer and one of my favourites is Liebling with worn down mix-and-match furniture, it just has a very cozy and loving feeling immediately when you walk in.

Bettina said...

One of my favorite places is in MQ at Cafe Halle. You can sit outside up the stairs in the most comfy sofas and overlook the whole square filled with people.

My favourite place is definetly my balcony with flowers and vegetables growing rapidly because there is sun all day. Overlooking the city from my little green paradise combined with a sizzling barbecue with friends is my personal summer highlight there. If a have to leave this cozy spot I like to enjoy spending time in MQ either in one of the great museums or while sitting outside in a cool bar drinking mint lemonade.

I would like to visit as much from Vienna as possible! A friend spent there the whole weekend and told me all about the historic centre and how similar it is to our city (Prague) – after all they were like twins not so long ago. Also, I’ve heard that they have friggin’ PANDAS in the Vienna zoo! Can’t resist. Probably going there in the summer, already have some money saved.
