Looks like my current denim collection has been taken over by a gigantic swarm of indigo blue jeans and I wouldn’t want it any other way. There is just something about pure, almost raw denim that makes it so chic. Maybe it’s the fact that dark-blue jeans are equally versatile than their classic black brothers but with a more modern twist. Especially when they come in the form of slightly flared jeans with a touch of fray…

To be honest I never fully understood the flared jeans hype that flooded the stores last season. It was just too much 70’s/ Charlie’s Angels/Farrah Fawcett for my minimalistic taste. It felt weird to wear something out of a decade that I’ve never personally experienced and some of these XL flares looked almost costume to me.

Until I’ve met the perfect flare! I’ve been wearing these Marc O’Polo Pure jeans for a while now and I’m deeply in love with the dark blue tone and the unexpected frayed finish. The flared silhouette is subtle yet leg-elongating (something we all want, right?) and makes the perfect addition to any well-assorted denim collection. I’m obsessed – what about you?

I am still contemplating whether I like the hemline solution or not. Since the jeans is a pretty classic conservative version and only the hemline is not, but does that give the right edge to the trousers?

Ein super schöner Look, der fast schon wieder ein wenig Lust auf den Herbst macht!
