Proving once more that the Victoriana trend has definitely got some street credibility. It doesn’t always have to be a barely there slip dress or tons of ruffles to pull of this trend. Sometimes all it needs is simple black lace or ruffled cotton paired with denim. And who would have thought that broderie anglaise goes oh so well with a suede mini and white kicks? It’s the contrasts that make fashion so much fun! I love the subtle embroidered details on this crisp white shirt – a great piece for late summer days…

I don’t want to be a kill joy, but it is “broidery”, not brodery. Please add the i after to o, looks much better and reads much easier.

    Dear Helene, thank you for your input. But it’s actually Broderie Anglaise without I – that’s the official fashion term. It’s embroidery but broderie anglaise. Sorry to be a kill joy ;)
