VIENNA COFFEE GUIDE

Vienna Coffee Guide: The best cafés in Vienna I More on viennawedekind.com

Vienna is quite famous for good coffee – it kind of is the motherland of coffeehouse tradition. We Viennese people love to meet for a freshly brewed „Melange“ and talk serious business while munching delicious cakes. Yes – coffee is definitley our religion. As a true coffee afficionado (see Insta if you need proof) I get a lot of questions from you regarding the best cafés in town. That’s why I’ve decided to share my favorite coffee spots here in Vienna:

KAFFEMIK. My favorite café is tiny (only 2 tables indoors) BUT it has a lot of charm. They serve gold brew coffee in small glass bottles, extra creamy cappuccinos, yummy fruit cakes and nordic cinnamon buns.
Kaffemik, Zollergasse 5, 1070

ERICH. This café is probably my second living room. Not only do they serve amazing avocado tacos and sweet potato bowls BUT also heavenly iced latte and cappuccino.
Erich, Neustiftgasse 27, 1070

LIBRARY. To be honest this coffee shop is far away from the buzzing city centre but a trip to the WU Campus is totally worth it. Probably one of the best cappuccinos in town + the brownies are sooo good!
Library Cafe & Roastery, Welthandelsplatz 1, 1020

CREME DE LA CREME. First of all: the owner, Julia, is the sweetest person ever. Literally. With her big blue eyes and the blonde hair she looks like a living doll and she fills her small café with so much love and passion that you can feel it in every corner. And with every sip of her coffee. Must try: the Mousse au Chocolat Cake is a dream!
Creme de la Creme, Lange Gasse 76, 1080

JONAS REINDL COFFEE. If you’re up for unique interior, iced flat whites and tasty tartes this is the place to be!
Jonas Reindl Coffee, Währinger Str. 2-4, 1090
