THE BOYFRIEND SHIRT.

Mastering the Boyfriend Shirt I More on viennawedekind.com

Consider the boyfriend shirt as sartorial equivalent to a balmy summer night with friends, a bottle of bordeaux and a bunch of anecdotes from your school years: It’s carefree, comfortable and makes you feel good!

Despite all the tempting trends out there, your girl will always choose great-fitting basics over glitz and glitter. The thing is: an oversized boyfriend shirt gives me so much more joy and confidence than any Vetements It-piece will ever do. Especially when it’s made from 100% organic cotton like this crisp white piece from Aiayu!

WEARING
AIAYU Organic Cotton Shirt (similar here & below) // CLOSED Jeans // MANGO Earrings // SAINT LAURENT Bag // CÉLINE Sunglasses // NEW BALANCE Sneakers

I was introduced to this sustainable clothing brand back in Copenhagen and instantly fell in love with the refined quality and their passion for respected craftmanship. All clothes (take a look at their amazing knits) are crafted by local people in Bolivia and Nepal, whose artisan skills are passed on from generation to generation. Love this concept!!

Reason enough to, once more, choose timeless comfort (and wine-infused summer nights) over short term trends. Who’s with me?

I would say that is not only the boy friend shirt but also in my view also the boy friend jeans and sneakers as well. =)

Gorgeous silhouette from the tucked shirt, but athletic shoes with jeans make me feel so uncomfortable! Cool girl style though, very nice.
