Back from Milano, not only with a crazy cold (call me Sneezy) and without my beloved Olympus Camera (which got stolen at the train station!!) but also with a Memory Card full of sartorial inspiration. Again I had a blast in bella Italia and wanted to share my favorites from this season’s Milan Fashion Week:
Kicked of Milan Fashion Week with my first Fendi Show ever and it was epic!! A Wooden catwalk that felt like it was at least 5km long. Thousands of excited people and in the middle there was Gigi, Bella, Stella and Julia, strutting down the runway in the most beautiful airy gowns and badass leather boots. In red. As my camera got stolen I have no pictures from the show (crying cat emoji) but here are some of my favorites from the Fendi AW17 Re-See. I need the Earrings and this dreamy leather bag and yes I think I’d like to have the red boots…
Celebrating the brands 90th birthday, Furla displayed a potpourri of bags & shoes inspired by the past decades. Well, I wouldn’t mind owning these hairy black ankle boots…
DIESEL BLACK GOLD
A 4omins ride with all kinds of trains and busses later, we arrived in the middle of nowhere, where the Diesel Black Gold took place. And the AW17 show was just like the show locations name: MegaWatt. Strong, powerful, with shades of black and brown and the most gorgeous shearling/patent leather jacket that went straight onto my wish list!
One word: bold! Every corner of the Jimmy Choo AW17 presentation was painted in a different eclectic color and got even the strictest minimalist a little excited… Pointy pumps on bright orange, velvet heels on pale pink speakers. Oh yes please, Jimmy!
WEEKEND MAX MARA & MAX MARA
I love Max Mara, not only for the brand’s famous camel coats but also for the super soft fabrics and the neutrals shades. And this ridiculously comfy teddy bear coat…
What’s not to love about a sleek leather bag white chunky white straps??
This season I’ve teamed up with Aigner to style on of their must-have bags and take a look backstage, minutes before the AW17 show. And there it was: the most beautiful, minimalistic leather tote with metal handles that I’ve ever seen!! I want it. Like now.
The Jil Sander show is always one of my highlights during Milan Fashion Week. This season was no exception: I just love the clean silhouettes, the oversized shapes and the brand’s eye for detail. This creamy knit combo with the black leather tote screams my name!
