One reason why I love Scandi style so much is the people’s ability to make minimalistic Outfits look utterly interesting. The Scandivians know how to play with patterns, colours and layers to give an otherwise simple look a bit of a twist. During Copenhagen Fashion Week, back in August, I’ve seen some clever ways how to style a dress if you’re not really a dress person. The formula is simple:
A beautiful Midi Dress + Pants & a Textured Top underneath + Sneakers + a chunky Jacket on top.
Voila! So simple but so interesting, right? The trick is to play with different textures and shapes, like lace and leather pieces mixed with chunky puffers and catchy accessories. This creates a well-balanced look that has this Scandi attitude we all want to master. Right?
