FEB 25th 7.00 a.m. // Bienvenue à Paris
Next stop after Milan Fashion Week: PARIS! One of the most beautiful cities in the world and also one of the most inspiring. Before we dived into the Fashion Week buzz we checked into the charming Hotel Henriette (a little gem across the Seine) which turned out to be one of our favorite hotels in Paris. The breakfast in the small courtyard was a dream…
14.00 p.m // Living la Louvre loca
Although it’s been on my bucket list for ages, I’ve actually never been inside the Louvre. So we managed to tick that off the list, before our first appointments. What an incredible, inspiring place!! All the old paintings, sculptures and ceiling frescos. This place is just magical and I can’t recommend a visit enough, whenever you are in Paris.

11.30 a.m. // IRO PARIS
After shooting for an upcoming project we headed to the IRO Paris headquarter. I’ve been wearing lots of IRO clothes lately, since they offer incredible wearable, comfortable clothes with great quality. On my wishlist for next season: the most wonderful faux fur coat (so well made, you can’t actually tell it’s faux fur), a white mini tote and a grey, oversized Winter Coat. Love love
13.30 p.m // Lunch Time at CARETTE
Met the Rewardstyle Team for lunch, to catch-up and talk about Parisian Life and Online Shopping. If you don’t know Rewardstyle yet: It offers the Liketoknow.it app, which makes you shop my Instagram Outfits immediately. By downloading the free app you get all the exclusive details on what I’m wearing on Instagram and where you can get my clothes. Feel free to try it out – I like it a lot.
15.00 // Palais de Tokyo DAWEI SHOW
Another name to remember: Dawei Sun – designer of his namesake label. His debut runway show dished up deconstructed silhouettes, oversized coats & shirts, fun knitwear and unexpected tailoring. Curious to see more!

10.00 ENVELOPE 1976 presentation
One of my favorite discoveries during Paris Fashion Week: Envelope 1976, a sustainable brand from Norway, found by my lovely colleague Celine Aagaard and her friend. The clothes are super chic, the quality is incredible and the new collection offers basically everything I wanna wear this Fall. I’m OBSESSED with these leather sandals and the way Envelope1976 makes layering great again. Definitely a brand to watch!
13.00 // Lunch at PINK MAMMA
If you wanna eat at Pink Mamma you need to book a table in advance, otherwise the huge queue around the block (standard for this Italian restaurant) will swallow you for hours. But it’s definitely worth it. Great vine and very yummy Italian food!!
I’ve always been a huge fan of Toteme but ever since the Fall/Winter 19 presentation I am obsessed with the Swedish Brand!! Simple, everyday pieces that stand out thx to their quality and the impeccable tailoring. I literally want everything from the collection – the quilted coat, the oversized blazers, the fluffy jackets, shirts, T-Shirts. So so good!
MIDNIGHT 00 Presentation – Hotel du Crillon
I’m not sure if Ada Kokosar’s high heels are the most comfortable (some colleagues claim they are more Taxi Shoes than walkable trotters) but they definitely are some showstoppers. Midnight 00 caters to all shoe addicts that love ruffles, crystals, PVC and extravagant shapes. And luckily she now does flat shoes too!

20.00 BY FAR Presentation
Definitely a favorite from Paris Fashion Week: BY FAR – an Australian shoe label that recently started to do bags. And they do it well! Fell head over heels in love with this tiny white bag and the velvety totes. And let’s not forget to put these barely there sandals on our wishlist too!
KOCHÉ SHOW Accor Arena
Entering the 17.000 seat arena we all know a spectacle will take place soon. And it was! Bold, fun, daring. The models names flashing on big LED screens upon their arrival. Designer Christelle Kocher’s Fall/Winter collection definitely came in colours! Signal red, bold orange, yellow, green – you name. Some looks topped off with eye-catching ostrich-feather hats.
Brand to Watch: COPERNI
Another great presentation was the Coperni FW19 collection. The brand was found by Sébastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant, two ambitious designers that worked for Courrèges before. Coperni is cool, minimalistic with an incredible eye for details. Interesting shapes, materials, cuts makes it a definite brand to watch for the next season!!

11.00 DIOR Re-See
I admire Maria Grazia Chiuri’s designs ever since she arrived at DIOR. I love her urge to create clothes that are combinable within our existing wardrobe and her more sustainable thinking. For the Fall Winter 19 collection she focussed on 50s silhouettes. Patent coats, trenchcoats, polkadots, bucket hats, kitten heels, fifties full skirts with leather waist belts. The list goes on. A very wearable collection through and through (I need that knitted sweatervest) – topped off with the most beautiful box-shaped shoulder bags. The latter went straight onto my wishlist…
SAINT LAURENT Re-See
If I’d been allowed to take pictures at the uber-chic Saint Laurent Headquarter I would now fire dozens of pictures of the incredible Fall 19 clothes at you. But unfortunately I wasn’t. So I’ll keep the memories in my heart instead and assure you: next season is all about shoulders, incredible wool coats and suits…
Well, that’s it for Fashion Week Inspirations. All in all the next season is about comfort, details, layering and power shoulders. Make sure to check out my Milan Fashion Week Diary and follow me on Instagram (@carolapojer) for more Inspiration.
