I was wearing a COS Coat (similar here & here)  // ASOS Jeans // KURT GEIGER Boots (on sale!)

Although I’m not really a watch person I’m somehow attracted to all kinds of clocks and watches. I like staring at them and the fact that watches tell a lot about peoples personality is quite interesting.  So when the swiss watch manufacturer Parmigiani Fleurier invited me and 29 other international bloggers to Lausanne, to have a look at their new Metro Collection, I was excited! It’s like diving into a whole new world full of clockworks and chronographs and for me there’s nothing better than getting to know unknown planets. Although some of the watches have too much bling for my taste I really adore the fact that every single watch is handmade by Parmigiani (the leather bracelets come from Hérmes, not bad right?). I’m a big admirer of manufactures, because these crafts became very rare these days.
The collection was presented at the Museé d’Elysée Lausanne where we also got to see the Philippe Halsman exhibition. Photographer Halsman was a good friend of Salvador Dali so a lot of his work is dedicated to the surrealist. If you have the chance to see the exhibition do it, it is fascinating! Uh and don’t get me started on Lausanne itself! A city full of cobblestones, colourful facades and french cuisine. BEAUTIFUL!
Switzerland you have so much more to offer than cheese, chocolate and mountains (love that though) and I will definitely come back!!
Thx for the invitation Parmigiani & thx to Sylvia who took the picture of me. No more words now, just have a look at the pictures.
