LOUIS VUITTON SS15 - A TIME TRAVEL

there is a park and in the middle of this huge park, right beside fairy tale trees and mouthwathering green grass, there stands a giant, futuristic ship made out of thousands of glass wings and tons of steel. You enter this space alien, and there suddenly is Michelle Williams, Charlotte Gainsbourg and Catherine Deneuve. And water. You turn right and enter a hall of mirrors, a futuristic dungeon – but a friendly one. Lights are blinking across the room, like the spine of a dinosaur. The dust is dancing in the spotlights around you then the lights go out and the walls are whispering: A beginning is a very delicate time…

The room was filled with music. „Hello, darkness, my old friend, I’ve come to talk with you again. Because a vision softly creeping left its seed while I was sleeping. And the vision that was planted in my brain still remains within the sound of silence.“

Then the vision becomes real – girls on the run. Confident and powerful, not afraid of colour/leather/attitude. Code number 2014/70’s. Velvet & sequins entering the runway. Airy dressed vs. Tough leather. Quilted leather bags buzzing around. Girls in skin tight knee boots and kiss-inspired eye make up on top. Doily inspired jackets & dresses. Colour Code: red/blue/green/white/black. Skirts with a swiss guard reference (one of my favourites), culottes and belts knotted at the back. My mouth got dry and my eyes got wet. This route to Spring Summer 2015 is a journey I’d absolutely like to take.
