Dear Dad, you always knew what’s good. And what kept us warm during harsh Winter days. Growing up in the countryside it was all about staying warm and cozy. Tailored wool trousers, faux fur jackets (as thick-as-an-actual-grizzly) and chunky soles. We were sunken in virgin wool and other warm layers and fashionable freezing was not even an option. You had the chunkiest cable knit sweater and the warmest corduroy pants and that’s how I remember our Winters – ice skating or walking through the snow-dipped woods. Dear Dad, thank you for keeping me warm. Now and then.
