WEDDING GUEST ATTIRE

Wedding season is upon us and it can be a tricky thing to find the right wedding guest outfit. Especially when you like to keep things simple and prefer monochromes over florals. But no worries, I’m here to help. I’ve teamed up with Zalando to share some tips & tricks on how to find the perfect Wedding Guest attire:

ELEGANT SEPARATES
If you’re attending a city wedding and the dress code isn’t super formal (I’m talking black tie), you have lots of dressing options! Of course an all-white look is a total no-go for wedding guests but there is nothing wrong with a black & white mix. In this case elegant separates can be real game changers:

Instead of investing in numerous dresses (which can easily cost you a fortune, if you’re having lots of invites), you can mix and match all season long! Not only for weddings… Chic off-the-shoulder tops paired with airy culottes are a fantastic alternative to classic cocktail dresses and will definitely keep you cool on a hot summer day.

THE MODERN COCKTAIL
Just because the wedding dress code call for formal dressing, you don’t have to wear skin-tight shift dresses or pastel coloured skirts. Modern cocktail dresses come in off-shoulder or even asymmetric silhouettes, made from silky fabrics that will make us feel beautiful. Try for example a chic wrap dress or minimalistic ruffles. Statement Earrings and strappy heels will complete the look!

THE SLINKY SLIP DRESS
A slip dress is actually a very elegant option for any summer wedding. I recommend you to choose shiny materials, like silk, for a more sophisticated look. Color wise I’d go for black or navy, but neutrals & metallics would look gorgeous too! Or a nice burgundy shade… Add big earrings and a sleek box clutch for a polished finish.
