MAKING MEMORIES...

´Photophile`. What sounds like a complex physical process you’re biology teacher once tried to explain, could also be a legit job description for yours truly. Photography has always played an important role in my life (some of you might know that I’ve studied Photography and Performing Arts) and the pursuit of great story telling is a driving force in my job as digital creative.

Creating high-quality content and inspiring visual stories is a wonderful thing to do but I honestly couldn’t do it without the right equipment. And yes, I’m using all the full format devices a professional photographer uses BUT there is also a secret weapon in my office. A camera, that is ALWAYS with me (no matter how tiny my handbag or how short my travel might be) and is by far my favorite tool for making memories: The Olympus Pen Camera. I’ve been using it for over 2 years now (once starting with the E-PL7) and I could truthfully say that at least 50% of my Instagram Pictures are taken with either the E-PL7 or E-PL8.

No wonder I got really excited when I heard of the launch of the brandnew Olympus Pen E-PL9. This new camera comes in the same super chic appearance but with even more refined details (just to name a few):

– Bluetooth & Wifi Connectivity for easy Smartphone connection (obsessed!!)
– A built-in flash
– Touch Screen Controls
– 16 Megapixel / 4k Video
– Flipable Screen (if you fancy a selfie)
– Larger Handgrip & Controls for better navigation

As soon as I received the E-PL9 I went on an urban photo safari (call it part of my job) and captured some of my favorite spots in Vienna. And boy, this camera did not disappoint. Still the perfect handbag-size but with impeccable quality that melts my photographer heart! So if you are quite like me, always on the hunt for a perfect photo with a great passion for high-quality images, I could not recommend this camera enough. Amen.
