Holiday season is in full swing now and from now on you’ll find us by the pool/beach/lake. The one thing you’ll always need – no matter if you’re on vacation or dippig into local waters – is definitely the right swimwear. Here’s a selection of the best simple bathers and no-fuss bikinis to make your relaxed beachday even more fabulous:
THE SIMPLE BIKINI
I’m a sucker for minimalistic Bikinis. A simple bra + a high-waisted brief is all I need this summer! Especially the Australians are pure masters of Swimwear Simplicity. I got one from Bondi Born, but also been obsessed with Matteau. My favorite local label is Margaret & Hermione, an Austrian swimwear label which is using recycled fishnets for their collection. Top!
THE SOPHISTICATED ONE-PIECE
Asymmetrics, cut-outs and one-shoulder designs are so hot right now! My favorite is this asymmetric swimsuit from Edited, which comes in an extremely chic and modern design. Also love this one-shoulder piece I got from Weekday and of course the wonderful nude swimsuit from Austrian label Rendl. Minimalistic perfection!
THE CROCHET BIKINI
Every now and then I like to add some french vibes to my swimwear collection and what could be more french than a crochet bikini? You can wear it as a two piece or just pair the top with an airy midi-skirt. Double win! Mine is from british label Maiyo but I also found some nice pieces below:
THE V-CUT SWIMSUIT
Love a deep V swimsuit – it makes it more modern and accentuates the collarbones in a nice way. Got myself this silverish bather from &Otherstories, which might be not an everyday design but I just love the shape.
THE COVER UP
One of my absolute summer essentials is a cover-up. May it be a sun dress, a kaftan or a beach shirt – these pieces will definitely save you from sun burns and cold winds. During our honeymoon I’ve worn this amazing silky kaftan and the artsy cotton shirt from Bondi. Big love!
