NEW SEASON INVESTMENTS.

I’m fully aware of the fact that the current heatwave doesn’t really support the idea of Fall/Winter Shopping. But let me tell you this: NOW is the best time to get your hands on the new season pieces. Just like my mom used to say: „when it’s cold outside, it’s too late to buy a coat.“

With that said I’ve teamed up with BREUNINGER* to stock up on Fall/Winter pieces and talk you through my new season investments. And always keep in mind: I clicked these pieces home in a perfectly cooled room which a cup of iced latte. That’s why I always prefer e-shopping to dragging myself through the heat…

However, each season I work with wishlists & moodboards, to get an overview of the upcoming trends and my own preferences. Before I start shopping I write down my planned investments and create a capsule collection, which means I make sure that each piece is versatile and can be combined with several other pieces. The result is a might fine list of my new season essentials:

Found this amazing Stella McCartney Coat and totally fell in love with the two-toned design and the oversized fit. It’s a piece I could wear almost throughout the year. Think balmy summer nights, where you could throw it over a cami top. Or layer it with chunky knits or even Blazers (that’s why I love oversized fits) throughout Winter. Check.

Also got my hands on a pair of Chunky Sneakers, definitely my favorite Breuninger find, which have the perfect level of chunkiness without looking like buffalo hooves. Plus they add some extra centimeters of height in the comfiest way. Check.

Not to forget about a fair amount of basic T-shirts and black trousers, which just go with anything in your wardrobe. This Stella McCartney Track Pants are so comfortable yet street-appropriate, with that perfect mix of sporty yet tailored.

I’m still dreaming of these Balenciaga Babes, which are definitely on my Fall/Winter wishlist. Need to get them as soon as possible, since they look amazing with denim but also with more business-like shenanigans.

So, that’s me kinda sorted – now it’s onto everyone else!
