Our Living Room is finally done and I can show you the end results. It took me a while to find the perfect grey sofa and a sleek coffee table – but finally I’ve found the furniture of my dreams. The center of the living room is definitely our new Muuto Connect Sofa. I instantly fell in love with its contemporary yet timeless design and the perfect mid-grey shade. You won’t believe how comfortable it is (not too soft, not too hard) and I’m obsessed with the big armrests. The special feature about the Connect Sofa is that it’s easily alterable and therefore incredibly flexible. So if I ever need a larger sofa (or a different shape) I can simply connect other modules to it. That’s what I call furniture for modern needs!
Also got a thing for pillows lately – I could spend hours browsing through my favorite interior shops, in the search for interesting shapes and textures. My favorite is the light-grey linen cushion by By Mölle (made from 100% European Linen, woven in Lithuania) and the charcoal Knot Pillow by Design House Stockholm.
Another living room favorite is the Ninety Table from Ox Denmarq. I can’t even describe my love for black marble – it’s an obsession. For the living room I wanted both a simple but still extraordinary table. Not an easy task! It took me a few months to find the perfect one that fitted my minimalist aesthetic. This table has it all: an elegant marble top made from Black Marquina (black marble from the region of Markina, North Spain) with an extraordinary frame. It matches perfectly with the white marble side table that I got from Westwing a couple of years ago. These two tables make a nice, eye-catching unit…
Space enough for all my Scented Candles (you know, I’m an addict) and other bits and bobs. The By Lassen Candle Holder is our latest addition – it has been on my wishlist for ages and I finally bought it as a reward for a busy season. In the corner you’ll see the gorgeous New York Print by Studio Esinam (love it so much) and a black Acapulco chair, topped off with a fluffy sheepskin for extra hygge vibes. Last but not least our beloved fig tree mister (I believe it’s a boy, but Patrick thinks otherwise) and the lovely brass water spray can. It’s one of these items you absolutely don’t need but it makes watering plants even more fun. So I’m up for it haha! Hope you liked my little Living Room Tour.
