Grand Palais. Last week I was invited by Chanel in order to discover the upcoming Fall-Winter 2019 collection in Paris. For Noir et Blanc de Chanel Global Creative Makeup and Color Designer Lucia Pica took inspiration from shadow play, reflections and absolute world of black and white.

Women think of all colors except the absence of color. I have said that black has it all. White too. Their beauty is absolute. It is the perfect harmony.
The Face
There is a certain palpability to the texture: it is so real it becomes part of your skin. At the same time the sparkle hovers above it, becoming almost like an aura, a kind of glamor seen in films - Le Gel Pailleté is very much about this.
The Eyes
One of the most interesting products is the Carte Blanche, a white top coat with silver sparkles that you can layer over your eyeshadow or use as a highlighter.
OMBRE PREMIÈRE TOP COAT features sumptuous yet subtle shine, a glamorous outer layer, to be built on more familiar contrasted textures and colors.
The Lips
Would you go for black lipgloss? Probably not. But Lucia made me do it and you know what: I love it! Use it as top layer over your deep red lipstick and add some mystery to your Winter nights...
There are moments of lightness with a sparkling tone that was very much from photographing light at night. There is also something borrowed from the way color changes in the dark.
The Noir et Blanc der Chanel collection will be available from 16th of August 2019.
