One thing that I've learned from European Winters it's that you can't start early enough to prepare for the big chill. Usually the temperatures are quite nice until mid-November and then suddenly the frosty air hits you hard. Which also means that you'll be frantically searching for a nice coat that'll keep you warm while also looking great. And once you've found the perfect coat it will be sold out in your size. Story of my life...
The color / The texture / The fit
But not this season. I was kindly supplied by Iris von Arnim with the most gorgeous, perfectly warm, oversized wool coat that I could ever imagine. Don't need to mention that I've been searching for this type of coat for ages. I must admit that the pricetag is hefty but a timeless black wool coat in a sublime quality is an investment piece for life. Promise!
