There are without a doubt a few classic pieces that every woman needs in her wardrobe. The simple Slipdress is one of them, as I've already mentioned in my Spring Wardrobe Special. It's this kind of dress that would work on any occasion, from casual day looks to elevated summer nights.
DAY
I've styled this gorgeous EDITED Slip Dress for a daylight stroll through the empty city. So in love with the back detail, by the way. To tone down the glamour a notch, I've paired it with my new Birks and a casual longsleeve. This makes the dress comfy, airy and a nice choice for warm Spring days. If the weather gets steamier, you can totally skip the top and throw a Blazer over your shoulder.
NIGHT
Swap the slides for high heels, knee-high boots or platforms and you instantly hit the sophistication button. A pair of statement earrings and a nice bag and your minimalist evening look is done. Less is more, you know.
As you can see: Slipdresses are versatile as hell and the fact that you can wear it in so many ways, makes it a legit wardrobe staple.
